Her inseparable bond with dance began with an interesting childhood conversation with her mother. At the time, her mother was learning the traditional Chinese instrument Guzheng and imagined how beautiful it would be if her daughter could perform together with her, dancing on stage to the sound of the instrument.
At the age of five, she began learning Chinese folk and classical dance. She was admitted to the Hong Kong Dance Company Youth Programm as a dancer at fourteen. She has participated in numerous important competitions and performances during her dance career.
Beyond dance, she holds a degree in Visual Arts and a master’s degree in Art Therapy. She is dedicated to integrating art into everyday life, enabling it to serve as a vessel for containing and transforming emotions.
She stated – “Although my mother is no longer with me, every time I feel the joy of dancing, I remember that it was she who brought me into dance and who allowed the artistic legacy to continue.”
