Ms. Jiang (Jiang Lining) graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy with a major in Ballet before joining the National Ballet of China as a professional ballet dancer. During her time with the company, she performed in numerous acclaimed full-length ballet productions, including The Red Detachment of Women, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle.
Ms. Jiang currently serves as a Senior Instructor at the Beijing Dance Academy Ballet Grading Centre and as the Teaching Supervisor at the National Ballet of China Art Ballet School (Zhong Ba Yi Lei Dance School). During her tenure at Zhong Ba Yi Lei, she has participated in the choreography and rehearsal direction of the ballet productions Snow White and The Nutcracker. She has also played a key role in the annual ballet examination program, consistently achieving outstanding teaching results and earning high recognition for her work.
Ms. Jiang is now a valued member of the Sydney Chinese Dance Group, where she continues to share her passion for dance and contribute to the promotion of Chinese performing arts within Australia’s multicultural community. Drawing on her extensive professional experience in ballet performance and education, she mentors dancers of all ages and inspires students to pursue artistic excellence.
In addition to her work with the Sydney Chinese Dance Group, Ms. Jiang is the founder and principal of Turning Pointe Dance Studio, located at Level 1, 177 Rosedale Road, St Ives, NSW. The studio offers professional ballet training for children and adults, focusing on strong technical foundations, artistic expression, and the development of confidence and discipline. Under her guidance, many students have successfully completed ballet examinations, participated in stage performances, and developed a lifelong appreciation for the art of dance.
With decades of experience as both a professional performer and an accomplished educator, Ms. Jiang remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation of dancers while fostering cultural exchange through the universal language of dance.
